Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!!

This weekend Ella carved her pumpkin. Sofia had a pumpkin to carve but was not interested in doing it at all.
Here is Ella on our dark foggy night with her awesome lit pumpkin!

My cute pumpkin carved a cute pumpkin!
Hard at work. She wanted nothing to do with the guts. So I cleaned it out for her, and she carved it super quick. Then she announced that carving pumpkins is easy..... next time she is cleaning out the guts!

A friend of mine has ducks and chickens and even a couple of sheep. We have visited her little farm off and on for years. Once we were lucky enough to see a duck hatch from its shell. That was in May. THIS is the duck now! My friend mothered the duck and was afraid that the duck would become too attached to her. Well now he nips at her, so he must be a teenage duck!

Sofia's team had another game today too. They are amazing this year. They won 19 to 0! Last year they were lucky to win anything. This year there is no stopping them! They have a proper coach this year and she has done a great job with them! Ella is also starting to practice with Sofia's team. It is a big change to go from the F group, which Ella is in, to the E group, which Sofia is in. They go from playing half  ice games to full ice games. All of the girls have a big adjustment period when they move up. So they said to have Ella start practicing with them now. Tomorrow will be her first practice. Fingers crossed!

We also made gingerbread halloween cookies. There is not much to celebrate in regards to halloween parties here and no trick or treating. So I have made up some fun things for them to do to celebrate halloween!
