Christmas on the Farm

Whew, finally caught up! Today we went to a farm that had a Christmas celebration. EK heard they had horses and was very excited to go !

Then she saw that she couldnt ride a horse with a sadle and wasnt very happy!
They had some food upstairs of the barn. They were selling riisipuuro (rice porridge), makkara (sausage), mehua (juice) and of course kahvia (coffee).
Riisipuuro with cinnamon on top. It is actually better than it looks!

The girls didnt want to go near Santa. So Mommy had to bring them over. I think they only went because Santa had candy! Santa also gave them a postcard with his address on it! The girls loved having Santa's address!This is an open fire that was used for cooking sausages.
